The subject of the project is to conduct research and development work, as a result of which an innovative rodent detection system will be developed. The system will be aimed at both business entities (DDD companies) and consumers. The use of Deep Learning and Visual Recognition solutions will allow for automatic pest recognition.

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative method of recording the sound of this type of pest and ultimately – innovative tools for their detection and control. Thanks to the conducted research, finding a way to detect xylophagous insects using the sounds they produce will allow for streamlining the processes of obtaining healthy, uncontaminated raw material, and the developed tool will support the work of raw material quality departments in many industries using wood.
