Development of an innovative rodent detection system

​Project co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 Priority I "Support for R&D work by enterprises" Measure 1.1 R&D projects of enterprises Sub-measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises.

​The subject of the project is to conduct research and development work, as a result of which an innovative rodent detection system will be developed. The system will be aimed at both business entities (DDD companies) and consumers. The use of Deep Learning and Visual Recognition solutions will allow for automatic pest recognition.

Owl Sentry – Wood Monitor

​The aim of the project is to conduct research and development work in the area of ​​developing a prototype of an IT and analytical system for automatic detection of the Common Squirrel in wood, thanks to the development of algorithms for advanced data analysis.

Implementation of research service

​The aim of the project is to develop an innovative method of recording the sound of this type of pest and ultimately – innovative tools for their detection and control. Thanks to the conducted research, finding a way to detect xylophagous insects using the sounds they produce will allow for streamlining the processes of obtaining healthy, uncontaminated raw material, and the developed tool will support the work of raw material quality departments in many industries using wood.
